It currently has the one it came with the ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M and its a good graphic card for being integrated and all i guess but, i'm looking for somethign better and wonderinging if i can add a better video card and what kind

You cannot upgrade video cards on laptops. There is no such thing as a PCMCIA video card, which is the only slots you can add hardware to a laptop.

Since you have a compaq, which is basicly a low range laptop, not really meant for gaming, so I can tell you right now without even looking you don;t have a dedicated graphic card. You has the simple basic everyday graphic card, lucky for you though Age of Empires III is a very low range game which should be just fine on your computer.

No, you can't. The only way to upgrade a laptop is to buy a faster laptop, with a better graphics chipset. BTW, all graphics chipsets are onboard on laptops, even the fast ones.
