I had a problem with my old computer, but I took out the harddrive and put into another machine. I can find some of the files that I had before, but all the folders that were on the desktop on my old machine are gone. I had alot of my music files i bought from itunes on there, and i'd really like them back :(. Anyways If anybody can help me, i would greatly appreciate it

go to the old drive in my computer
go to documents and settings
go to your old login name
all the desktop, and my documents files are located there.

Attach the HDD to the old machine. boot from that HDD. login using your password. Now copy those songs files to a another drive otherthan C drive. Shutdown & remove the HDD and install it in your new computer.

use some data recovery tools.it should help.
