i have to buy a new hard disk in seagate .but i am confused which brand will be better and how much gb .
seagate baracuda - 160 , 200 gb ?
seagate sata - 160 , 200gb ?

Yeah, you are confused. Seagate's SATA drives are ALL Baracuda's. This is the most popular one, these days, and it's very fast: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148139 Just make sure you get a 7200.10 series, and not a 7200.9 or 7200.8; they're only a couple of dollars more expensive, and are about twice as fast (new technology).

without a doubt the barracuda in terms of speed. i dont think there r any barracudaz with a speed of less than 10000 rpm. if you want a fast harrd drive then the barracuda is good. but if your not gonna use the comp for very demanding stuff then the sata wil suit just fine.
