someone told me that all computer moniters (nowadays) are hd, thus they can show media in hd quality is this true???

My laptop worked fine and could detect the netgear wireless router that I bought several months ago. All of a suddent it does not detect anymore and I now need to be wired to get to the net. What's going on? I suspect it's a virus and before I re-install the OS on the laptop, I was wondering if you had any suggestion as to what to do (I did several thorough virus scans etc. did not find anything).

Any suggestions?

I have a Lexmark Z22 printer and need a black cartridge with model name Lexmark 50.

It will have to have a hole in the top to inject ink into using a refill kit.

I've tried searching online but can't find one anywhere.

Also, please don't warn me about the damage refills can do because the money people save on cartridges in more than the cost of a printer.

Hi, I've had my comp fo r2 years already and now my comp has issues...
It is always blacking out every 4 - 6 seconds... however sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't... before it blakc out the monitor screen becomes dimmer and it blacjs out... if I hit the refresher button the screen reappears but it will eventually black out...

plaese do tell me the problem and how to fix it

hi i have some cd's which are cd-r's and i want to play them in the computer..when i put it..it doesn't work..it shows like different folders and some other things.. i want to know that if cd-r are able to work on the computer..by putting them into the cd drive. and also do i have to install any software for the cd-r to be able to work?? if so tell me the name of the feauture and please provide the links tooo..thanks..

My router states is connected....
Modem Status Connected
DownStream Connection Speed 2272 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 288 kbps
But it doesn't pickup an IP address from the exchange, although I have green lights on the router? I have also been advised by the amazing BT call centers..... that my username and password is correct! despite them giving me three different usernames and password in the past. What is wrong?

My dvd-drive was working fine before.I don't where it has gone now.It no more appears in "My Computer".I nerver disconnected the dvd-drive.And one thing for sure all the wires & cables are plugged in perfectly.I tried to uninstall the driver using "Device Manager" & then using "Add Hardware" I tried to install the dvd-drive again,but a message appeared "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)".Why did this happene.Someone told me I need to reinstall my OS again & only then the dvd-drive will appear again.Is this the only option?Please guide me in a detailed manner.I will be very greatful to you.

I heard entertainment cards are the ones driving the industry (e.g. gaming computers) so it should suffice for a workstation ...or will it?

This is going to be a workstation for a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) which is for reverse engineering, just the opposite of CAD.

A cheaper route for a laptop selection is the HP computer with the entertainment graphics card: NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600

The CMM has used a Dell computer with the workstation graphics card of: NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M Turbocache OpenGL

What does a workstation graphics card have over a gaming card? (HP 17" entertainment/gaming laptop is about $1500 while a 17" Dell workstation laptop is almost twice the cost)

I have been wondering if there would be a device that will project the display from my PC onto a screen or just to the wall of my house, like the cinema projector does. I know there is LCD projector that does this, but that is too costly. Does anybody know if there is an affordable option?

I have a had this graphics card for some time now, it use to work fine. I had to upgrade my power supply to 500 watts for it to work properly. Recently the power supply would give out restarting the whole system. I used my old graphics card until I bought a new power supply... I installed the new 480 watt powersupply but 6800 gt is not working. First I saw lines on the screen, then blocks of white red black, smiley faces all over the screen. When I restart the motherboard gives me two beeps and nothing appears on the screen. I installed the old graphic card and went into CMOS it said in the events "CMOS CONFIGURATION ERROR" Is my card dead or do I just need to load defaults in CMOS???
