If your pc needs a certain specification to be able to run either music or games, it should tell u what you need. Once you know, you can download it.

Yep, If you do have a sound card installed and it still doesn't work then you need to re-install the driver that came with the card or computer. Failing that you may need to dowload one from the internet. If you dont have a sound card then your obviously not going to get any sound. Either way the simplest option may to buy a cheap soundcard from where ever. Expect to pay no more than £10 for a cheap unit!

Device manager (windows key and pause break key) Harware tab>device manager button> Sound video and game controllers, look for a red X or yellow circle with a "!" in it. try updating the driver, or removing the hardware in device manager and restarting

click start all programmes look for sound and devices check whats installed on clicking properties was their software with your speakers if not try downloading realtek ac97 audio
