how do i get it back?

in work environment or network you should not be able to use
CD or called D drive because when your System Admin
prep the PC he has too disable by company direction.
any way if you need it Admin should be unable it or if you want to do it you need password press F2 on boot up you will see.

Besides booting through the F2, one reason it shuts off,
is because you cannot experiment with the power level. This
requires a card installation called mother leader. When you
are good at typing in command, say college level property it
may shut off even to take data on your habits. If you do know
what your doing continue, the info travelling out is to save
computers.

Your system administrator hide the drive for you.

You should be able to see it if you type in D:\ in windows explorer address field.
