im not sure if its my internet lagging but does any1 know how to adjust the nightvision because i keep lagging when i have it on and i really need the nightvision

i have a desktop running windows Me and laptop running windows 98SE.now i have connected both wirelessly using Dlink wireless modem.network configuration is done same way for both i.e in terms of work group name etc and the laptop connects to internet wirelessly through desktop so i guess it connects to desktop but i can't seem to access desktop through network neighbourhood for file sharing etc..i can access laptop from my desktop without any problem.

please help!

i went start/run and typed cmd and enter, then i typed ipconfig and entered it in the command Window. The bottom number is the default gateway (router) address. I then Typed this in the browser address bar. When i got to the login page i need to enter the password for "Netgear" i don;t know what password is is refering to. Plz help me in order to use the Wi-Fi setting fro my DS

I've just bought it and was setting it up, one of the first things I did was change the network name and password and now the router doesn't seem to be producing a wireless network and I can't get on using ethernet.

Any suggestions? The 2wire website was useless. Any help would be great

in other words i travel out of state and my relatives do not have internet so i hook up my computer and change the phone numbers so they are local and were good to go but can i do the same with DSL or Broadband. There are no numbers to change so how do i know if its local so as to be sure no long distance will be charged with DSL, and is it possible to hook up my DSL modem and such on another number when DSL seems to be based on my home phone..

I am the angry and frustrated owner of a Motorola Surfboard cable modem.

Ive been able to go online maybe once a week for the last month and ive been wondering what the bleep is going on. there are 6 lights on the modem
1) Power
2) Recieve
3) Send
4) Online
5) PCactivity
6) Standby
What happens is that when ALL the lights are on I can connect to the internet but mostly numbers 1/2/3 and 6 stay on. Ive unplugged the modem and let it sit for a day and still nothing. The Power switch on this modem doesnt want to work for some reason. It may be a broken router but someone else mentioned it might be the cable wires...what do you all think?

I installed everything perfectly but when it checks the computer setting it says "cannot connect to router, check if connected to computer", its getting me so frustrated.
