My experience that I see eyes closed "I" myself more often than not it guides me through my life through my inner feelings and prompting. As a result I feel enlightened and empowered. Am I right in my path to enlightenment? On many occasions I feel that I have thouht over the matter that is going to happen that is to say in advance about the events I see that of future.

Does anyone have any advice about how to speed up your internet connection? I signed up with cellularone, purchased a D-Link wbr 1310 wireless router provided by cellular one, and when I first got the internet it was blazing fast and now it isn't. Any clues?

I'm using a Linksys wireless-B router in my house. I bought a laptop today, and when I went to connect it to my wireless network, it showed up as "not secure" and it connected without a password!

How can I find out if anybody else is connected through my router, and also- how can I set up a password so nobody else will be able to access it. And finally, is there a huge difference between wireless-b and wireless-g? Thanks!

Let's assume there are no IP-masking techniques being used. Just a regular network, the wireless type that people might use at home to share an internet connection.

I have a BT Voyager wireless router which I use to connect me to the internet. But I am now wondering if I can use it to set up a LAN; I have my PC wired to the router and my laptop connecting wirelessly. I know that the Default Gateway is at 192.168.1.1, as is the DHCP and the DNS. I know that my pc has the I.P. address of 192.168.1.2 and my laptop 192.168.1.3. Only problem now is getting them to communicate - i tried pinging the pc from the laptop and vice-versa, but neither could find the other. I tried the net view command and nothing was found. Please assist me! Thanks

My roommates and I are connected to a router and I am concerned that they might go through my computer or history through the router. Is this a possibility? One roommate is especially nosy as hell and I'm worried.

I'm trying to download a game and it takes like 2 hours and 30 minutes and when I am 30 minutes away my internet stops receiving packets and the internet activity light stops blinking(on my modem). Any suggestions? It happened ever since I installed my wireless...I tried turning off my wireless but it still didn't work. Please help, I've been trying to download the game for like 4 days.

I have my modem attached to my wireless router for my laptop. I want to have 5-6 people over for a LAN in my basement without running a mess of cable to my basement or without making everyone buy wireless cards for their computers. Do they sell/Can I make a wireless receiver that receives the signal from my wireless router upstairs and splits the connection like a normal router? Thanks.

Does a higher gain (dBI) in WiFi Antennas mean better reception? I'm trying to get a signal from far away. I was thinking of buying a high gain parabolic outdoor antenna.
