Which free program works the best? I once knew of a handful of free programs. I am currently using www.LogMeIn.com and that seems pretty nice but I wish it was faster... Thanks guys

Easy, go here:

http://www.realvnc.com and click download on the left side
Choose the personal free version and you are set to go.

This is Virtual Network Connection, its free and easy to use. Make sure to setup a password and set it to run as a service so that you can logout and switch to other accounts remotely. Its great.

Other betterones, but paid programs are:

Remotely Anywhere (what i use)
PC Anywhere and
one of my favorites - Remote Desktop - Can't beat it and is free, but less secured than those other paid ones.

There are a lot of programs, but most will suffer some sort of lag.
XP Pro's Built in access is good up to a point, but will suffer from about a 60% rate of video transmission.

Never use Windows built-in Remote Desktop because it might cause you to have a higher risk of being hacked and attacked from ousiders. But anyother services like GoToMyPc is good enough.

In windows XP, go to START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, then click REMORE DESTOP CONNECTION. See if that helps. Also if you got the HELP & SUPPORT, just enter REMOTE and it will show you what to do.
