Does anyone have any advice about how to speed up your internet connection? I signed up with cellularone, purchased a D-Link wbr 1310 wireless router provided by cellular one, and when I first got the internet it was blazing fast and now it isn't. Any clues?

TCP Optimizer. Do A google search for it. It SHOULD speed up your connection a little bit. It has for me.

You can look at a simple set up guide for it, and get it done within 10 minutes.

It might seem confusing at first, but it's NOT!!!! Just read the guide real quick, and wala.

Also, if you use Download Accelerator Plus, it will speed up your download by up to 100%!!!!! Download it from download.com

Good luck!

Check for spyware, also check the wireless router. Turn the router off or 10 seconds and then restart it, if its faster then it could be the router on the way out. If its not that our spyware, then your wireless (NIC) card could be faulty.

My first suspect would be spyware! Try the norton spyware scan on the Yahoo toolbar. If you are signed up with file sharing sites, this may also be stealing all your bandwidth!
