Hello Im very desperate I've been trying to get a register to work with a hand scanner and I cant get it to work . I have a Casio TE-2400 register and a psc q-2500 hand scanner and I'm trying to install the cd but my computer isint letting me install the software and I tryed other computers and theyre all giving me the same error wich says I need a iKernel install I tryed to update it but nothing is letting me is there another way I can go about installing the software without using the iKernel by the way I HAVE XP and the register says to plug the computer to the register I did that but the scanner is not working I know its so confusing but maybe somebody might know I 've been trying to do this for 2 days and Im really desperate I m running out of options were opening this grocery store this tuesday and I no longer have any money to get an expert so Ive been trying to do it myself any responses will be greatly appreciated thanks!!!!

HI there, our user has a acer laptop, we removed the hard drive from the laptop and then attached a USB converter to it.
Our plan was to use norton ghost 2003 to save all the data from that hard drive into an image. and transfer it to a much bigger hard drive.

I selected the "Backup" on norton ghost and tried backup the drive. The thing is it failed because ghost cannot find a USB driver.

Now once the pc was back to windows, i removed the hard drive from the USB connector and placed it back to the laptop.

To my surprise, my laptop won't boot up, so when i removed the hard drive again. put it back to the USB and cheked the contents, my drive was wipped out! C: and D: are clean. and when I try to open also the drive, it prompt me with this Drive not formatted.

Can anybody explain to me what happend? My boss was really upset with me, and I don't know what to say actually, They believe I messed up, but I don't even know how.

I also would like to add that the processor is a AMD Athelon 64X2 +3800 running at currently 2.1GHZ I also have 1 gig ram and i want to know how much another gig will help the speed. Also how much will a Nvidia GeForce 8500GT if at all incresse my processor speed

I have a movie I made from windows movie maker. It says I dont have a dvd burner even though it says dvd rom on it (theres only one drive). But the thing is on my upstairs computer I cant run DVD maker on it because it says that I is not compatible with the video card! I dont want to buy a new video card. Any solutions?

Here is my config setting. I have a cable modem connectted to a wireless router. I have a SBS 2003 connected to the wireless router. I have 1 pc hard wired to router and 3 wireless pc.s I also have one wireless pc that I don't want accessing the SBS.
I was able to set up the wireless connection, users, etc.
When I try to connect the cliet pc using the http:/server/connection I get the following error

"The list of users and computers cannot be found before continue ensure network.... Also if you have a router performing DHCP servies on your network. Verify the router is configured to use the coumpter running SBS. as the primary DNS server. ..."

I am at witts end figuring out IP addresses DHCP etc.

Anyone have any good web sites on how to set up the ip and client connections or can tell me how to?

I have surfed to confusion.
