well its on its way. and as you can see Network Capable n/a..where can i get one.. and how can i find out if it will work in the laptop?

i dont want to use a USB Adapter.... i want to have a PCMIA.. and i have googled it.. just dont know how to find out it will fit in my new laptop with out buying it and trying...

Hope you had bought it from Staples. I did buy the same computer a couple of days back from there. Why I am almost certain that you had bought it form Staples is that no body else is selling this particular model and also I can't find any internet references to this model not even on Acer web site.

However, coming to your question, you don't need to buy any network adapter or any thing else. It works fine with my wireless router, it has a in-built network adapter.

I think "n/a" here stands for "not available". Hope acer did not tell any thing about the network capabilities to the store.

I liked the computer and the web cam is really cool, gives a very nice picture.

network adpaters are generally usb compatible, so as long as your laptop has a usb port available, it'll work after you install the software for the adapter and the adapter itself via USB port, so long as there is a wifi signal available, otherwise, you'll need to provide you're own via a router from another machine which has your internet home access

Dont waste ur money, all laptops now come with network adapter built in.

Hi. I would research PCMCIA (also called a PC card) or a USB adapter. Yours just does not have one built in.
