i have both and i need top know wich one is better and more reliable??

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/... On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

Best to use both, AVG is aimed at viruses, ad aware just at Adds. The Ad Aware I always used is an on-demand scanner, so it only uses CPU power when you actually run the scan.

They are two different kinds of programs. AVG is for virus protection, while AD-WARE SE, is for adware and spyware protection.
It is a very good idea to have one virus protection program, along with 2 spyware protection programs installed on your computer. That's what we have set up on all the computers at our house, all four.

well, they both do different things. AVG is an anti-virus that works extremely well. and Ad-aware does just that, searches for adware you could have accidentally downloaded or something to that effect. keep them both, it does no harm

I like AVG,since it cleaned my computer wen it had massive spyware..the free trial did it for me...and so i chose AVG
theres an AVG anti spyware...

avg for virus protection,ad-aware is for scanning adware on your system not virus

avg is the anti virus program. adware is the spyware and adware program.

They also are best the anti viurs freeware,but they also best viurs scaner.But i suggest you 'd better choose kaspersky,norton,nod32.
