I have a Dell Gx270 Pentium 4 2.6Ghz.
I currently have 512mb ram of Pc2700 and i want to buy a 1gb ram that is Pc3200 because i found a good deal.

Will my computer recognize both memories if i combine them in my computer? For a total of 1.5gb ram or it will only recognize one of them.

Grand total wont work because I'm trying to get the sum of every other column. For example, I want to the sum of column B, D, & F to appear in column H. I dont want to do add individual cells because it will take too long.

My cousin sent me a cute little program offered by Office Depot called Elfyourself. It has dancing elves and you could put the faces of your children or grandchildren in it. Since I am a picture illiterate, it took me 3 hours to do this. Now I can't open it. Any suggestions?

I have a windows XP, Home Edition,Version 2002,Service pack 2, Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz, 2.99GHz, 504MB of RAM. And I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0. I have 38minutes and 12 secs of footage,after I edit my footage it is good, but when I export it to a dvd it looks echoey a slight blur, while my charactors are running, it is really anoying, and it hurts the eyes. what can I do to fix it. I really want to edit my photos and would like to know if there are any good free programmes that people could recommend - I understand that a free programme wouldn't have nearly as many features as photoshop or a similar professional photo editor. Or can you download photoshop from Frostwire?

It keeps freezing my computer and breaking my internet connection. I've updated my modem drivers but that only helped for a few minutes. I'm running Windows 98 on a year-old USR Winfax 56K modem.

We have 2 pc's, one in the den, and my parents have one in their bedroom. If they know my pc/network user name and password to log on to computer, do they automatically have access to anything on my hard drive? Can they check my email if I am logged on to my Yahoo acct?? If I click on network I can see their computer log on screen, but I dont know their user name or password, but they know mine, Thanks for any help

hi, im trying to transfer a few large files between my laptop and my pc, i have the laptop and pc both connected to a bt voyger router via there enthernet connections,

i have been into the network connection but carnt seem to figue it out,

my mum has wireless router attached to desktop downstairs and would like to be able to take laptop to summer house at top of garden but router signal doesn't reach that far, could she put in a second router upstairs on same phone line which should reach to top of garden, if you catch me drift.

My computer wont turn on, shot the wires with a multimeter and had no voltage out of any of the wires from the power source(not sure whats its called, where you plug the computer into the outlet). Checked the cord, its good. The computer is old anyways, wouldnt mind junking it but I have a ton of files I need off it (games/pictures/stuff) is there a way I can hook this hard drive to my laptop/another computer (Its a HP desktop if that helps, my mom has an HP as well, similar model but newer)

I'm not asking how to get in a PC if you've forgotten your password, but I was just browsing through some old questions on Yahoo! Answers, and I noticed how many people have forgotten their password.

Something crossed my mind ... if you can so easily bypass the windows XP password, should you have forgotten it, then what on earth is the point in even having a password on a PC in the first place?

If you do forget your password and you can bypass it without super hacker skills, then surely it is not even 1% secure?

Someone can get straight in and view your files, documents etc. Or can they?

I don't want a lesson in how to because I never forget passwords, but I just wondered what the point is.

Maybe I am missing the point somewhere ... it's almost the same as locking your front door, but leaving the back door permanently unlocked.
