I'm a little confused and I'll tell you why. If it were my graphic card failing the test, I would just know I can't put the graphics on max but its not. My graphics card passes it with flying colors. Btw, talking about Call of Duty 4 for PC. The only recommended I fail is the processor. Now, I'm not exactly sure what this will mean during gameplay. It probably won't be laggy because of my graphics card right? Recommended is a X1800 Pro or better and I have a X1950 Pro (radeon). So that is fine but the recommended processor is 2.4ghz dual core or better. I have a AMD Athlon 3200+ 2.0ghz clocked at 3.2ghz. (single core) Do you think I will have problems running the game on medium/max graphics? From what I know about games I would think as long as I meet the minimum requirements for processor I should be good to go since isn't the only main thing that matters the graphics card? Do you think I can smoothly play this game with my specs? I pass all other tests as well.

I'm trying to find a proxy server that would unblock or go through Net Support School Pro. I'm hoping that someone knows a way to atleast use command script or w/e its called to do something to go past it, but I just can't find a good proxy that still works. I've tried vtunnel, stunnel, utunnel, acproxy.info, kproxy and many others but yea they worked for a few days then got blocked. Anyway so was wondering if someone could please help me out and tell me a good proxy server or another way I could go past this website blocking program.

I've no virus/adware/spyware/etc.
(I've done all scans and used online scans/houecall/adaware/AVG) etc
I'll list what I found that looks *off* to me.
If it is could you please help me fix it? (2 problems?)

I tried to copy and paste an address from a website to use in an answer on yahoo answers, but I couldn't get it to copy. I highlighted the address and when I went to click copy, the option wasn't there for me to copy (it was there, but it wasn't available to use if that makes any sense...) What's going on? I've never had this happen before. How do I fix it? Thanks.

I have a five year old dell pentium 4 with a 17 inch big TV style monitor, and a heavy motherboard. Is it better to leave it on to hybernate and turn the monitor off when I'm not using it, or should I keep shutting it down and restarting if I use it again? Does it even matter?
More info....
I unplug the net connection when I'm not using it.

My computer system performance as well as my internet connection is now very slow. There is an alert that my PC has been infected with Trojan/Malware and other virus. Sometimes, when I want to log off of my computer, I get a box that pops up saying _PTAHYDRA is closing. I have also noticed my computer is slower than normal, and sometimes will not load a page on the Internet. I have used ad-aware, and it still pops up. Can anyone tell me what this is, and what I can do about it. Keep in mind I am a novice at computers.

I've been saving for a computer for 4 years, Christmas/Birthday money. Well, this year I have enough to buy one and everyone in my family except my dad thinks its about time I go ahead and buy one. His reason is he doesn't want me to spend my money, however the only reason I have money it because people gave it to me to buy a computer.. >_< I've told him every reason I could think of to convince him, but it doesn't look like he'll change his mind. well i have a question....when i turn on my computer. it start to load windows and then it shows the blue screen quickly and restart the comp...and it only happen with the SATA drives...i tried the old ones and it worked...then i took other SATA hard drive and it didnt work (same prob.) i tried to connect it to another SATA port...but still the same problem when i insert the windows CD and try to format the comp. it says that it cant find any hard disks...so...well i thought maybe something wrong with the Motherboard but its not that cuz the old hard disk i mean the one with the IDE connector...still work...so does any one have any ideas on how to fix it? any thing will be helpfull...thx =)

i need to copy my OS(windows XP) from old hard disk to new hard disk. and i dont want to loose any installed programs so i need to make an bootable image. i have seen goast do this before preaty good but i have a cupple of computers here and i dont have $60+ to spend on every computer. any one know a good goasting program that works? free one is what i need. i have seen sone linux programs(bootable cd) that i can run "PING 2.xx" or something o dont remember. if you have any advice or know a good website plz letme know..

an idea is it possable to format /s on the hard drive and then just manuely copy the files over?

or is there a way to copy the booting part of the hd to the new hd and then i could transfer the os/program files my self?

this cant be a hard thing to do i would think.

Every time when I try to access a file that contains a movie, I keep getting an error message " explorer. exe",and then a text of the type " In order to protect your computer, media player has to close this window". What should I do?
