To speed up, add more RAM if you can (Not free though). Then you can try some of the things mentioned here;

Find your OS on the left.
He just started doing Vista and will probably have more added in time.
Remember, if you not know what you doing, write it down, so, you remember how to change back if there a problem.

Use adaware, and make sure to update. Spyware blaster is another unmissable tool that prevents spyware to get onto your pc in the first place.

yea its called a torrent site. go to www.azureus.com and download azureus vuze. once installed then go to piratebay.org or isohunt.com or any other torrent site and look for your anti-virus program
