What you may have to do is, place your mouse pointer over the link, and right click, and use "Copy link location"

I tried to copy and paste an address from a website to use in an answer on yahoo answers, but I couldn't get it to copy. I highlighted the address and when I went to click copy, the option wasn't there for me to copy (it was there, but it wasn't available to use if that makes any sense...) What's going on? I've never had this happen before. How do I fix it? Thanks.
I dunno, works for me and I just used my mouse and right click, copy, left click, paste...You did something wrong if the option to copy wasn't even there.

When you go to the address bar, highlight the address and press ctrl c to copy it. Then go to the box you want to copy it in, then press ctrl v to paste. It should work like that. Maybe the box you are trying to paste in isn't highlighted or something.
Good luck!

The text was probably in a jpeg or a tiff or a gif and wasn't actually written in HTML, so you can't copy it. You'd have to select the entire image, which you probably don't want, which leaves you the only option of rewriting the damn thing. Sorry, these things happen and they're out of my control.

Did you try highlighting it and then holding down ctrl and pressing c (at the same time)then going to your answer and holding down ctrl again and pressing V (at the same time)?

could be some javascript code.
try "cntrl+c" to copy and "cntrl+v) to paste.
Or turn javascript off .
A virus/spyware scan never did any harm.
