I already had installed system mechanic (that I bought. I love the program) on my desktop computer then uninstalled it. I'm getting a new laptop soon; will I be able to install system mechanic on there too or is there a limit of how many computers it can be installed on?

XP Home edition is the OS. The video driver I want to install is Acer AL1716. Control panel won't let me change the drivers. No internet sites tell you how to do this. they tell you how to do 9X, 2000, & ME. But not XP.

I have a copy of Windows XP SP2 but its not bootable.
How can I make a CD bootable without using the 6 diskettes?
Because the computers I'm working on doesn't have
where to put floppy disks. A friend uses a booting cd and then
he puts the xp cd. Can anyone explains me how can i do a cd
instead floppy disks?

I have a dell desktop E510, i want to get a memory card for my cell phones so i can download music from my pc to my phone and vice versa. Does this e510 have a sd reader? so can i stick my sd memory card inside the usb port? the e 510 has 2 usb port in the front. does these work for sd too$ or do i have to buy a sd reader?

I have a large following of buyers from an online auction site and i would like to start my own web site, can someone please tell me how. My computer came with Windows XP Media Center Version 2005 SP2. Shortly after getting my computer, I purchased Windows Vista Ultimate upgrade thinking it would improve my computer in all aspects. As you can probably guess it had quite the opposite affect. Can anyone help me as to how i can completely reformat my computer, with use of a recovery disc if needed, so I can get back to the XP that originally came with the computer. Thanks, Chris.

I know this is a silly question but i am new to this.
In one room we have a desktop pc (windows xp) with a modem connected to a bt phoneline for homecall broadband.
In another room, we have a pc installed with windows 98 not connected to the internet and no modem etc..
Here goes :
I want to do connect the windows 98 pc to the other pc to use the homecall broadband. I know you have to get a router for this but do you need another modem?
Also would you need to connect the windows 98 pc to another phone jack?

Also, if i go into a shop tommorow, what do i ask for to do all this please.

We just got back home and the first place my dad went was the computer.When i was wasnt looking he upgraded to internet explorer 7.I hated it when i say it on the school computers and cant believe just did that.I want internet explorer 6 back but already tried 3 things.I tried restarting computer,going to old version .com but it just made a desktop icon,and system restore.But none did anything.Somebody PLEASE HELP!!!!

I find transitions and effects in Windows movie maker a little restrictive and would have loved to have added Somethin' Else to this slideshow ... can anyone recommend a good moviemaker that is flexible enough to allow mp3 as well as wma, flv as well as mp4 and still provide some special effects like glitter text, firework cascades, mirrored video, split screen etc...?
