How do I stop Quick time Player from running in the background?

START, RUN, type in IPCONFIG
Click STARTUP tab and look for "qttask"
Click checkbox to remove checkmark
Retart computer

windows:
left click small x sign on the top right side corner
or
left click file (on the top - left side) and when the menu slides down left click exit
mac:
left click red button on the top left side
or
file - exit - same as windows
