Go to Control Panel→Add and Remove Programs
Look for IE7, uninstall it, restart The PC.
It will bring IE6 back.

Simple, just un-install it. When you un-install IE7, it reverts back to IE6, which should still be on your puter..If it's not, then re-install IE6 there.
Reboot your puter into the Safe mode by pressing on F8 during startup..select, safe mode with network
then...
Start>programs>accessories>system tools>control panel>add/remove..(If you're on Vista)
reboot after you're finis..
Good Luck..

Both IE6 and IE7 are dreadful.
Firefox is the best and most secure browser.

You could try doing a system restore to a time before your father installed the upgrade.

Dad is not stupid. IE 7 beats the pants off IE 6.
Leave it alone.

what's wrong with you?
IE7 is far better than IE6
telling you how to switch back is a bad answer, since that means i would be telling you to lower your computer's security!
