I need to buy a new AntiVirus but I cannot decide what to get. Can anyone tell me about their experiences with Kaspersky and Norton AV? Thanks in advance.

Ok, I found the problem to the reason why dvd's won't work on my computer. But, I don't know what to do. This is what it said: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

That is what it told me. So, what should I do? Well, thanks for your help. Really appreciate it.

So, okay, I've got a question, how can I find out, if somebody hack into my system, or is using my system... or something else. Why I ask is, b/c my computer is a little weird lately. Sometimes I have problems with my booting script, then my license from windows is not okay, so I can't update stuff from windows. Then my Quicktime player license has now decided to not be legal. So, what the heck is going on? Or is it just VISTA? Should I install XP???

Hello there...I really need somebody's help...I'm in a big trouble..I accidently must have deleted on my husband's lap top the driver of his program called Sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7. Because when I try to make a copy of a movie, comes this message sayinfg"no driver detected" I try to see if I could fix it..but no luck..he going to kill me(figure of speech)..it is his brand new Laptop...
And also I need to burn a Video TS file, and could not find any answer here...I do have AnyDvd, but I don't know how to burn using this program...

I just bought a new MP3 player and it says that some USB port may not be powerful enough to charge the lithium battery, so I wanted to know what was the USB capacity for my computer.
It says that it needs an "High speed USB 2.0" or something like that...
The MP3 is an "Sansa e260 4.0 GB"
I just want to know if my computer is good enough for it. I'm not very good with computer you see.

Ok so I'm trying to reinstall Windows because I keep having problems with things that stop working and Windows Update not working so I want to reinstall...but every time I try it gets to the part where it is copying files before it restarts and says it failed because files might be corrupted or something. What am I to do now? I can't keep using this the way it is now because nothing works and it pisses me off when I try to actually do something important and it crashes! Help please?!?

A particular site I use regularly has now asked me to update my FLASH player. So I do, or so I think.

Everytime i download it, or remove the file and download and restart computer, it doesn't work ! How do I get it to work?

Only other option the sites says is to download firefox if i can't load the screens.

How do I get the new flash to download, install and work??

We are switching from DSL to fiber optic service. The service claims 50 Mbps connection speeds.

I am purchasing a wireless router to accommodate my laptops.

Will a 10/100 router do, or should I go ahead with a 10/100/1000 router?

Obviously option 1 should work...but will I get better performance with the gig?

Also, will the provider supply a modem to convert the fiber optic to Ethernet?

well i just called my pc manufacturer and i went threw all this hassle but now finnaly they said they there gonna send me box so i can ship it out to them and they will fix it for me i think they are gonna fix the motherboard since the power supply they sent me fixed nothing.(my pc not botting up)
NOw my question is when they fix the motherboard are they gonna delete all of my stuff in my hard drive like photos files etc?

i am using speedfan to overclock my processor because i cannot access it from the BIOS. The only problem is, my motherboard(Asus p5r-la) does not appear on the list. I wen to the help list and it says there might be a clock generator no the list of available motherboards that is the same as mine. this is what it says

"You can even directly select your clock generator (your motherboard might have the same clock generator as another supported motherboard). "

in fact if i open the software to download youtube video it spontaneously shuts down and again i get the same error message with a loud laugh!
i'm just not able to use word youtube on my browser, so it's very much palpable that it is almost impossible for me to open that site.
Is there anyone who could lend me his helping hand and thereby let me to come out of this bizzare prob.?
