A particular site I use regularly has now asked me to update my FLASH player. So I do, or so I think.

Everytime i download it, or remove the file and download and restart computer, it doesn't work ! How do I get it to work?

Only other option the sites says is to download firefox if i can't load the screens.

How do I get the new flash to download, install and work??

Here's what you need to do
Navigate on your PC to:
C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

then you will see 2 files (among others) called
Flash9d.ocx & FlashUtil9d.exe
Right click on one of them and select Properties > Security

With 'everyone' selected at the top,
Click 'Edit' then under 'Allow' click full control.
Do the same with 'Users' selected.

Do the same for the second file.

Once this is done, double click FlashUtil9d.exe and it will install
