Ok, I found the problem to the reason why dvd's won't work on my computer. But, I don't know what to do. This is what it said: Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)

That is what it told me. So, what should I do? Well, thanks for your help. Really appreciate it.

Try the "Add New Hardware Wizard" and see if it finds it there.. Otherwise you might have to uninstall the drive completely and delete anything pertaining to it.Then reload the software and drivers.

First make sure, the cables are connected securely.
