This is driving me crazy! I have a Dell laptop with Wi-fi running Vista and a desktop running XP. I hooked up a wireless router and I am able to share my internet connection no problem. However, I am at a loss on how to set it all up to be able to share files between the two computers. They are not seeing each other. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

The manual is in Chinese. Do these laptops have a re-boot button? Sometimes I have to unplug the power and remove the battery if the thing jams.On the top of the keyboard there are 4 buttons besides the on/off. It it one of those?

I've heard that if you install Limewire on laptops it just gives you viruses and its not good....is this true? If it is, can't you just get rid of the viruses and clean up your computer? So basically what i'm asking is....can you have limewire on a laptop without seriously damaging it or wrecking it?

Also, if the answer to that question is no, what's another good free music downloading program I can use?

Thanks in advance.

"i was offered a position with best buy a fewyears ago, i never did accept the position...but during the 2nd interview they really focused on my sales skills, and had me do some role-playing exercises that were evaluating my sales techniques...so you may want to brush up and be prepared to be put on the spot..."

That was an answer on "2nd interview with best buy.. what to expect" Well.. i actaully applied in the geek squad area.. but i'm sure it's goin to be the same thing!

Anyways.. I really would like some help with this.. i'm not much a talker and i KNOW i'm gonna have to be.. i can talk but i'm just soft spoken (very quiet and shy talking) and i know thats a problem i'm gonna have to work on!! anyways.. i was just wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to sell a product.. or what they will ask me (example "what would you do if the costumer say no he doesn't want the product"(are they gonna ask me stuff like that))

Also what are some good questions to ask..

We have 300 employees. We're in a citrix environment with load balancers, lots of mcse's, etc... Anyway, simple things such as Microsfot office, excel, etc.. can take a long time to respond. So we're thinking about staying on the citrix platfor, but also installing copies of Microsoft Office on every user's local PC. Does this make sense? Thanks.

I have a Geforce 7950 GT it has always been finnicky but it still pumped out good frame rates in games like F.E.A.R.
I havn't been playing many games in a while and i just started playing F.E.A.R. again and lets say the frame rates arn't all that great :( In fact, they are dreadful no matter if AA and AF are on or off and its really annoying, why is it performing poorly should i get it repaired? I might replace it if i have to i heard the chipset it uses is kinda picky. I just want a consistent card :) Thinkin about downgrading to a 8600 GT XXX edition, i am not playing at ultra high res or anything but a 8800 GTS would be really nice if i can afford it come christmas time :) Am i doing something wrong? I usually like using stock drivers from nvidia (never new!) cause they seem to run smoother. oh and when dual monitors are enabled my boot time is dreadfully long.

I recently purchased CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 with memory timings of 2-3-3-6. My motherboard (ASUS) is having a hard time recognizing the correct voltages and timings and I want to go in to the BIOS and set it up manually. I just need to know what exactly each number represents in the timings. Ex: CAS = 2, not sure if thats correct but that is what I need to know. Also what about voltages? I don't want to overclock it but I would like it to run as fast as it can without damaging it. The link to the actual memory is here if you need more specifications to help me out. Thanks!

My SBC Yahoo provided 2WIRE ALWAYS cuts on and off (the light above "Broadband Link". I have gone through numerous ethernet cords, and also have tried different phone line cords, and they do not help. The problems seems to worsen on some days and doesn't ever occur during some days or every weeks. Is this a common problem, and can it be fixed?

I'm making powerpoint games, for fun, and I've come to a problem. I make it so the background is mouseover-linked to the "You Lose slide", and have a moving platform you have to wait for... But when you step on the platform, it still brings you to the losing page, as though your mouse was right over the background.
I remember a while ago, I had some way of getting past this, by changing the settings of the platform or something, but I've forgotten how I did that.

Any help? :S

I have a brand new computer that I bought from Best Buy, since the first time I turned it on, it's been really slow even when I'm just opening things like "my computer" or "my documents" compared to my old computer which is 10x faster.. Its a E-Machines T3616...If I add more RAM to it, will it make it faster?
What kind of RAM should I be looking for?
