My SBC Yahoo provided 2WIRE ALWAYS cuts on and off (the light above "Broadband Link". I have gone through numerous ethernet cords, and also have tried different phone line cords, and they do not help. The problems seems to worsen on some days and doesn't ever occur during some days or every weeks. Is this a common problem, and can it be fixed?

Go ahead call India, I mean their support.

They may try to fix, when they should be telling your line cannot handle it.

what kind of dsl do you have cable or phone wire dsl.if its cable that is usually what it does bottle necks more users on network slower the speedand moreproblems if it dsl then it could be several thi ng one most common is something like a dialer (alarm sys,cable box) doesnt have a filter on it.could be the distance you are from the office 18000 ft is max for 1.5 meg service is your phone noisy or have static on it when this happens?

Damn I feel for ya man, it could be a router problem, but it's hard to say.. I'd try calling your ISP before anything else because the problem might be from their end. I hope you're able to resolve your problem, sounds like a pain in the butt. =p

are the filters on each phone line in the house and the modem properly configured right

Not that it helps you, but my 2Wire does that also. Sometimes it just plain shuts itself off entirely. It hasn't done it in a long time, so.....*shrug*
