Can I recover my motherboard, what could I do. Is there other way? This is what I get when isolete the memory, I had tried others to retrieve my system, is this critical? It has an error on missing and corrupted file in config/system32. HELP!

I too am looking for a bit of hep. I just finished formating my HD and it asked me to remove the disc, and it will re start. Once it restarted it is nothing but a black screen with a flashing bar. Any one know how I would proceed from here? I have tried restarting again with no luck. I even tried re installing the disc in the drive but still no luck. "

I got some "smart" answers. MY next question is how do I instal the OS? I was under the impresion that the recovery disc from Toshiba was supposed to have the OS on there as well.

Any help is appreciated

im continuing this from a topic started called missing NTLDR here is the link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArWjWHi1PSQP02twMuWW7vYjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20070926155613AA7noxx since they have a flat HP panel scren and that has a disk that it brougth and the tower is a eMachine they are both different mnufacuters since the planel is new n has a cd, doesnt that cd need to be installed or somethign so it can recognize the flat panel (im assuming thats what its for, i could be wrong) but sinc the NTLDR is mising i canT do anythin with it instaling programs or anything, should i try using an older screen that doesnt or bring a cd, when a reinstall disk is put in the pc it usually alwasy goes to the setup reisntall menu but it isnt doing it says "inspectign hardware confgurations press any button to continue" it stays blnk aftr, i have the the flat panel concted but i havnt tried with a regualr older screen idk what other problem it could be if i try using an older screen

wat da causes

did memtest 2 hour passed
did burnin test failed very likely it crashed
testing seagate hd--passed long test but now doing extended generic test

in bios i saw my cpu going to 47 degrees
but still it doesn't take much work to boot windows even if that IS high... so

just pretend i didn't tell u this but tell me da casuses of boot freezes... btw i have both xp and vista on hd 3 partitions .. all done at da same time> (well xp then vista)3rd partition is just
a media drive.... both fails to boot... it boots 2 safemode... but not with safemode with networking...

My husband's computer died, but the hard drive still works. I want to replace the hard drive on my computer with his old one, but I want the same programs and everything. There are some programs on my hard drive that I purchased online, so I don't have a CD or anything, and would have to buy them again if I wanted just to use his. Is there any way of doing this?

if i get a external hardrive to my laptop will the movies on the laptop run faster. my laptop is 4gb and the external harddrive is 40gb when i play videos on the laptop they play slow without the external harddrive but if i get one will the videos play faster

spend any where from 500 to at the most 700 on one. Its the Mhz and G that get me. Memory speed. I've got a E Machine 512MB ram 64 proc. 3700+ Desk top but never had a lap top and what is the difference between the lap and notebook? anything? Thanks so much for your help. Me.

Ive got a Fujitsu Siemens laptop, had it for about 4 months. It was unable start and I had tried to do a system restore but didn't work so in desperation, mistakingly restored it to it's factory settings today.
It is working now (although has crashed today already) but I just wondered if there is any chance of getting a microsoft word document i really need back! I haven't reinstalled microsoft word yet?
I am really useless with computers so any answers in lehmans terms if possible please. Thanks in advance!

Every time I turn on my computer from standby, it crashes and restarts for some reason. It always says it's a driver problem but I think my drivers are okay. I always send reports to Microsoft but they don't help much. What's the problem?

I have a Dell Inspiron 8600. I am running Sims 2( yes I know, huge file. Have never had a problem until about a week ago when i installed a new expansion. Very laggy, horrible. I cleaned out my drve, ran my spyware, defragged, disk clean up. I cleared out about 6 gigs of memory. Now the game runs great until the fan turns on. As soon as the fan comes on its lag central. IF I close , Let it cool and let the fan turn off, reload its good again until the fan hits. Any ideas????
