im continuing this from a topic started called missing NTLDR here is the link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArWjWHi1PSQP02twMuWW7vYjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20070926155613AA7noxx since they have a flat HP panel scren and that has a disk that it brougth and the tower is a eMachine they are both different mnufacuters since the planel is new n has a cd, doesnt that cd need to be installed or somethign so it can recognize the flat panel (im assuming thats what its for, i could be wrong) but sinc the NTLDR is mising i canT do anythin with it instaling programs or anything, should i try using an older screen that doesnt or bring a cd, when a reinstall disk is put in the pc it usually alwasy goes to the setup reisntall menu but it isnt doing it says "inspectign hardware confgurations press any button to continue" it stays blnk aftr, i have the the flat panel concted but i havnt tried with a regualr older screen idk what other problem it could be if i try using an older screen

borrow an old fashioned monitor from a friend for an hour or two. Run system restore, and as soon as you have a bootable system, load your flat panel softare and switch monitors.
