I just downloaded a torrent Adobe Photoshop but the install notes given say: Burn or mount file with MagicISO. Install it. Use /sn.txt for registering. Could you explain that to me?? I downladed MagicISO but I can't figure out how to burn or mount adobe photoshop. If you know, please tell me . Thanks.

school just started, my computer crapped out, and im about to buy a new one with Vista preloaded. I'm not really in a position to devote alot of time to learning a new OS, i just want to continue what I'm doing and slowly learn along the way. How is the learning curve between the two OS's?

I have C and D drive on my computer. Most the things I download go to the C drive. It is getting very full, but the D drive is pretty empty. Is it okay to save things to the D drive as well. Such as pictures from my digital camera?

I received a wonderful forward with many pics of a baby squirrel taken in by a mommy dog and I want to forward it but it has like tons of email addys in BCC several times over, Can I fix this without saving each pic and essentially rewriting it all ? thanks

I've been looking to buy a new, very nice laptop that comes with XP instead of stupid Vista, and I *finally* found one. But its an Alienware, and I've heard that Alienware's are overpriced. So I'm wondering if this is a good one for the price.

It's got an Nvidia GeForce 9700 GS video card, 2gb of memory, 1.8 ghz processor (could choose a better one, but I want to keep down the price), Windows XP, and a 100gb hard drive at 7200 rpm. It'll cost me $1800. Is this good or bad?

I'm planning on using it for lots of college stuff and semi-serious gaming. Will a 1.8ghz processor be too slow if I'm gonna use it for this?

The computer needs the hard drive to be reformatted and the recovery disks installed but I have pictures that I need to back up. The computer will not start up or go into safe mode. It was suggested by HP to use the hard drive as a secondary HD on another computer. Have no idea of how to do that but if I had instructions for that my father could probably do that using his computer. Thanks for any info that will help me save my pics. I also was told that there are places to take my computer and that they have a way to copy the hard drive ???? Thanks again.

What the heck would have happened? I've been sending stuff to my yahoo forever now, and I always see the pics down there at the bottom. Now they're just those red X's and, I can still open them and dowload them, but Yahoo doesn't even recognize them as pictures when I search pictures anymore. and hotmail shows them when I forward the emails!? I don't think that I've changed anything in what I've been doing to make a change. So any ideas?

My fiancee just added more RAM (I have a gig now) and a new video card to my systerm, and now my computer keeps spontaneously crashing (well, at least booting me out of programs like Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word, and World of Warcraft). My C Drive is 74.5 MB with 43.7 MB of free space. I'm not running massive amounts of downloads or anything, just checking my email, posting on message boards, etc. with only one or two windows open at a time. What's going on, and what can I do to fix it?

It seems to have good specs and I am not a techi and I want to buy one for my regular research, email, music and sometimes DVD playing purposes. I don't play games so I don't care about that. Hi everyone,

I have MS Office 2003 Professioanl edition and was wondering if someone can help me solve an annoying problem with it.
When I start a document in print layout view. The cursor and words are really big and there is a line underneath the first word when I change the view to normal. The settings are 12 font and Times New Roman, but it seems like it ignores these settings. Also when it is in print layout view, the page is really wide. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks!!
