Hi everyone,

I have MS Office 2003 Professioanl edition and was wondering if someone can help me solve an annoying problem with it.
When I start a document in print layout view. The cursor and words are really big and there is a line underneath the first word when I change the view to normal. The settings are 12 font and Times New Roman, but it seems like it ignores these settings. Also when it is in print layout view, the page is really wide. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks!!

On the Standard toolbar go to the zoom settings and click the down arrow and set it to what you want.
If you highlite it you can put in custom numbers.
If the first word does not start with a capital it will be underlined.

Microsoft office 2007 and 2010 use a different file type for saving pages than 2003, so you won't be able to open 2007 and 2010 documents in 2003. There is a free open source and legal program called libreoffice that I use on my laptop and it is able to open 2007 and 2010 files.

Click View
choose "page layout"

When you want to see what it will look like in print, click the "print preview" button on the toolbar. Click "close" on the print preview toolbar to return to page layout view.

I normally work in 75% or "page width" view. Click the down-arrow next to the percent-of-zoom button to make your selection.
