Hi I have a gateway, that has a 17" flat screen lcd moniter. What should my resolution be at? How many pixels? And why does it keep sayen auto processing everytime I log on? It's very annoying. Thanks.

Why is it that when i wanna put up a classified, it asks for a location, and the only location is San Fransisco? And then when I wanna change it, this big list of random topics appear! Should I just skip the whole location step? please help! I wanna put up my cats for adoption in Stanley Virginia

Hi, i am wondering if running two nvidia 256MB 8400GS or two 8500GT in SLi mode would be better than a single Nvidia 8600GT? Also would it be future proof and good enough to run directx10 games? Also i have a 530 watt power supply so is this enough for 8400 or 8500 SLi???

I have a wireless network, all my laptops in the house are hooked up to the web via wi-fi.

I have a printer, and i want to be able to press print on my laptop, and for it to print out all the way in the other room, no usb cords.

I recall that there might be some sort of thing you can attach to printers that don't have wi-fi already, but I don't know. You guys are the answerers, you tell me.

I put a CD into my apple laptop to try and upload it to Itunes, but it never showed up as actually being in the computer, and there is not eject button on the Mac like on other laptops. I can't find any way to get the CD out. Help please!

I am well aware that i have spyware and virus on my computer, but my control panel is missing!! and whenever I right click on the desktop to change my settings it says "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".
I had read a question like mine, and i got to step 3 of4 where it said to click a button having to do with the control panel, but couldn't find it. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Will an intel Pentium D Processor 820+ (2.80 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 Cache) work with a Intel Desktop board D101GGC.

It sais only Celeron D is supported, but the guys at the PC shop said that it would work with the processor? Have they made a mistake? or will it work?

I just got a MAC for school, I'm in my final semester of Computer Programming, which is all done on XP Pro. I got a mac because I'm going into animation and design after and they told me that MAC was best.

I need XP Pro on my computer to finish my current program. But I hear that once you install a Windows operating system on a MAC the security drops WAY down. I believe it to be true. I dont have a choice right now, I need XP Pro on it. So what can I do to protect my new MAcbok Pro? It costed a pretty penny and I want to protect my investment.

Assuming that I AM putting XP Pro on it as a dual boot, what's the best thing I can do to keep safe? What programs will do the best job of protecting my Windows AND MAC side of my computer? What methods do you suggest?

Please no "Just don't install XP" answers, as I said, I don't have a choice... any help is appreciated!

Recently I've noticed certain games are conflicting, at first I thought it was just new titles that were realesed in the last few months, but even older games like Just Cause or even small indie games are hving problems now, I have no idea what the problem is, I have latest versions of Direct X and the drivers for my graphics card. On very rare occasions they do work, on others they dont, Im just so confused I have Intel Dual Core and its easily dast enough to run the software, enough HDD space and memory so Im just so confused as to why things that used to work perfectly are starting to screw up... is the card not compatibal with something?? Or is there a common fault on these things, I've looked everywhere and cant find any answers, please can someone try and help me??

Okay so I have a Gigabyte S-series mobo w/ a dual core intel processor, BFG 650 watt power supply, Nvida 256 mb Gforce fx 5500 graphics card.

At first, nothing would spin, but a flip of the power switch to set it at 115 fixed that and I thought I was good to go again. But now, I get no beeps only fans. It is supposed to beep right?

I've made sure the power is mounted to the board. It is NOT the power supply. I have had it tested already, and confirmed what I was told (that it is fine) on a tester that I own as well. So I know it's not that.

I do get display and can go into bios, but not load safe mode or normally. It just restarts every time I try. Besides the lack of beeps, it boots like it should till it gets past the bios screen that you can see in any comp. I can get in bios itself no problem, but if I try to countine with the boot instead it says the usual generic message:
