My broadband speed , I am with BT internet, has decreased the last couple of weeks from over 3mb to just 3 to 700 kb. I am sick and tired of speaking via email to Ranjit and his mates giving me all the old tests to do that I have done a thousand times, How do I get the BT engineers to check the line , as Ranjit ET AL seem to take no notice?

Originally I had the FireFox browser for beta testing,but the laptop B120 I own became slower and uninstalled that browser and reinstalled the IE 7.0 but now I can't open any of the links I have in my desktop to access some web sites but If I open the IE 7 and type directly the address of the website I want,it will open it,so what's wrong with my desktop that don't allow me to open any link?

My PC has developed a serious promblem. In "My Documents" all the documents files when I try to open them I get computer jargon instead of the written wording. Here is an example of what I am getting

On other files I am told that "Windows cannot open C:\documents, The file may be in use by another application, the file format may not be supported by any of the installed converters ot the file may be corrupt.

All the photo files in My Pictures will not open and display the picture.

I have CD back available of both the documents and photos but find the fault quite annoying. I tried system restore but that didnt solve the problem. Any ideas???? My spyware and anti virius give me a clear bill of health I also use a registery cleaner and spybot.
