I am using a Radeon x1900GT right now and haven't paid much attention to the new stuff. What cards has radeon made that are better now?

The top model just tends to be more power hungry than comparable Nvidia cards.

The HD 2xxx generation(DX10 compliant) (they dropped the X before the number)
Their current fastest card is the HD 2900 xt it is roughly equal to a 8800 GTS 640mb and sometimes goes head to head with a 8800 gtx I don't know if drivers can make it a better choice than the 8800 series as there has been problems. And also the HD 2600 series(xt slower than the 8600 gt for now though) and HD 2400(.......) series.
