It all depends if those OS's are active. If they are not then you can click Start>Run>Type msconfig>Click OK>click on the Boot.ini tab>click on the button marked Check all boot paths. Windows will let you which OS's are active and which ones don't exist then it will give you an opportunity to delete the ones that don't exist. (BTW, this is assuming you are running XP) Reboot and you should be good to go. If they are active OS's then I would suggest running a disk utility program that can safely delete those partitions and keep your main one intact. Just be careful about deleting unknown partitions you can often cause more damage than anything else.

Run a partition management tool like fdisk on Dos/Windows and linux.
Eliminate the parttion for the undesired OS.
There are other utilities that will add the parttion space to existing partitions. (Fips for Intel windows and linux)

Find the file named boot.ini on your C: drive.
Carefully edit it and discard the ones you don't want. They will not show up at startup anymore. If you want to recover the disk partitions you will have to use a patition manager or reformat the disk.

use Linux Ubuntu. Linux Ubuntu comes with a partition editor, so all you have to do is delete the hard drive partitions you do not want.
