Where is a wireless network stored?

If I get a new router, will I need to create a new wireless network?

If you are replacing an existing router, you can use the same network name and encryption codes. The setup instuctions with the new router will tell you how to enter the SSID, and the WPA or WEP code.

the router will make its own network, To get your computers connected to it, You shouldn't have to do anything but Plug it in.
