I have The Sims 2 and every single expansion pack out so far. I'm getting a new computer in September, and one of my reasons for doing so is that the computer I have now runs the games very slowly. The computer also has a weak graphic card, I'd just rather buy a whole new computer than add RAM or any of that. For those who have all the EPs installed, how much RAM do you have, and how does the game run?

The box for The Sims 2 says you need 256MB of RAM and 8x or faster CD/DVD drive. On Seasons, it says you need 256MB or more (512MB if other EPs are installed, which with me, they will be).

I was thinking of getting a new computer with 1GB of RAM. Will that be enough? Thanks.

I just set up a home network on my iMac G5 for my pc laptop. I've successfully connected the pc laptop to the airport network, and it shows that the pc is is connected with a high signal strength and is sending packets, but is not receiving any packets. Also, when I open IE on my pc, it says that it was unable to connect.

I'm not an IT guy (obviously), but I needed to ask, am I connected, or not? If I am, what is the next step?

I was trying to remove windows messanger that my boyfriend had downloaded and decided we didnt need.I dont know what happend, but I didnt even rmove the task bar.I did remove the messanger service, but the task bar is still there.
What I need to know is how to access the calendar that will allow me to set the system back to the day before I removed this or at leats a time before I removed this.
Ever since I removed this the letters on the internet are the size of the print in one of those pocket sized bibles.
Please help .

I can't believe I'm asking this because it seems like such an easy question. I can't get my homepage changes to save in IE7. I have gone to the Tools menu (at least three times), pasted the new website I wish to use (in the General tab), hit Apply and said OK. When I hit the home button (or even if I completely close the window and open a new one), I still get my old homepage. I even tried going to the website and then using the home icon to change it (on the actual browser window). Nothing is working. Please help.

P.S. I don't have any reason to believe it's a virus - the old homepage is my alma mater and I want to change it to weather underground.

I have been searching for a domain name registrar and I can't stand the user interfaces many companies offer for domain name management. Many are too cluttered and focused on trying to get more of my money. I just want to register a few domain names and manage them all in one place without having to deal with all the clutter. I have used surpassdomains.com in the past and I like their domain management interface but I need a domain reseller that offers identity protection for less than $20 per domain. recently due to a missguided bios update my comp got screwed up so i ran the winXP home repair from the installation cd and evrythin is properly back in place

except for the display.........it comes as layers an not at one shot like before it use to,also while scrolling in firefox,explorer its not free scroll

My friend and I was debating today whether or not Nero use to be a free product that you didn't have to pay for compared today.
