what are some things i can do to make my games perform better?? i have regular PCI and ive got the like one of the best graphics card i can get for PCI (radeon 9250) what things can i do for the games to run better?

When I used to live in Minnesota, my internet was perfect and never had any problems. Now I live in Texas, and my wireless/cable connection all too often stops functioning. I have tried multiple routers, and the result is always the same.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

Is there anyway to save my computer or is it dead? I tried a system restore, but it still will not load. It just comes up with a dos prompt saying "we apologize for the inconveneince but windows will not start, a recent update or blah blahblah might be to blame." and so on and so on.

I have a iomega 500gb external hard drive that is no longer being recognized by my system,and from what ive read the interface is usually the culprit.If i buy one of these external hard drive cases can i just move the drive into it and make it work?and can i salvage all the data on it or do i have to start over reformatting it.please advise.

I am building a PC and when I turn it on, I get no video and any case fan plugged into the 3 pin socket on the mobo won't spin. The monitor will receive a video signal for a split second and then the signal dies. My mobo uses LED lights instead of beeps so I don't get any beeps to troubleshoot with. I can't get to the POST screen or BIOS because the video signal isn't active long enough to get this far. The CPU fan will continue to spin and so does the gfx card fan until I hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn the computer off. I have tried removing everything except the CPU/Heatsink, ram, and gfx card. I have plugged in the power to the graphics card and the 8 pin cable to the cpu socket on the motherboard as well as the 24pin ATX connector. I have tried removing the mobo from the case as well to make sure the case wasn't shorting it and it still didn't work. I have also tried with a different stick of ram. Mobo is a p6n-sli fi, CPU is a e6750, ram is 2gb of 2.1v ddr2 corsair

bought a video board that supports pci. I fired it up and it didn't work. small print in manual states pci 2.0 required. I know there's a pci express and I know that I don't have that. I thought PCI was PCI.

I have a 80GB Hard Drive With two partions one ( C:\\) and Backup (D:\\). However I am thinkink of getting an external Hard Drive to backup and add the D:\\ part to the C:\\ drive.
Is there a way to do this without deleting any info on the C:\\ Drive. ( I Just don't want the D:\\ , i just want to transfer the space to the C:\\ Drive.)

i live in rural iowa, only 5 miles from where i used to live where i did get dsl thru qwest. i live outside of anamosa, iowa in a little town called amber. maybe 50 people. i can't get mediacom, qwest, comm speed, the only thing so far has been if i pay $200 for a dish thru the dish network. if anyone knows of a service that can reach me hear in iowa, i would greatly appreciate it. i have aol dial-up now and i pretty much hate it. sorry aol. thanks in advance

First of all, whenever I drag a video into the 3GP converter, it doesn't even show up like I didn't even do anything. And also, if anyone knows how to work the total video converter then could you give me an in depth walkthrough. Whenever I press convert now a screen comes up with a list of folders and applications.

Im thinking of installing it but I have some questions

1. I have my sims2 game for a PC, when I install flyakite will it still be on my computer and will it still work even if its designed for a PC? and does this work for other games and stuff for PC?


2. When I install flyakite osx will all my documents and games like sims2 and pictures still be here?

3. When I install another user in this computer (like in the log in screen) like for example there are two users named fish and chips and if I install flyakite in chips it'll look like a mac right? and when I use fish will fish stil look like a regular PC or a mac like chips?

hi. ok. so im trying to print something in microsoft word, but it's doing some weird thing where when i click print, a box shows up to "save as" and even if i do save it, it never prints..and a new box pops up that has to do with some imaging format...how do i "disable" the microsoft document imaging format so i can just print it as a regular document for school!! ahhh.
