You're out of the DSL/Cable high speed internet zone. I'm right in town & can't get it. Makes you cranky doesn't it. I'd recommend either slow dial up or you'll either have to go the expensive dish route or possibly a cellular boradband if you can get a cell reception out there. Just not fun I'll tell you. My friend 5 minutes from my house enjoys DSL while I can't!

If you can get cable TV, you can probably get an internet connection through your cable provider. It's going to be a lot better than any DSL service out there.

However, if your phone provider doesn't offer DSL in your area, the only way to get any form of high-speed is through your cable company, or through satellite (which is usually VERY horrible service).

Wildblue offers satellite-based internet access in rural areas. It is marketed mostly in rural areas where cable and DSL are not possible. I also notice that it is now marketed by DISH. It involves having a satellite dish.

Otherwise, you can do what I do - resort to dial-up.
