on your window, click on "tools" then "internet options", then click on "connections", then click on "LAN settings" and then you can check the proxy.

One way to check your proxy settings(as seen from the outside) is to go to http://www.iptwist.com and it will tell you which IP address shows up as yours when you browse. That will give you the ultimate IP address of the proxy chain you are located on in your company or wherever. But otherwise just go into internet explorer or firefox settings under proxy settings and see whats there.
