this popup tells me to run chkdsk utility and after i do run the chkdsk utility the command tells me ..."error found. chkdsk cannot continue in read-only mode." what should i do now?

I have a Linksys WRT54G router in my dorm because my roommate & I want wireless internet. (You have to hardwire yourself in to get internet). People have set up wireless before in the dorms. I asked a friend and he said I didn't need a modem because the whole building was already on a modem type thing...he said it might be like T1/T2 instead of DSL. So, we plugged in the router and it lit up. Then, we put the ethernet cord into it and waited to see what happened on our laptops. We got an excellent signal, but are still not able to connect to the internet. Plus, when I plugged it in, I was not prompted to set it up...it just found it. I got this router from someone so it didn't come with any software...does it have software and does it need it to set up correctly?
Also, we aren't supposed to have routers in our dorms, so they say, but no one seems to care.

I have Adobe illustrator cs2 already installed into my computer but it stopped working for some reason. I wanted to reinstall it but it will not let me.

When i start it says
Setup will not allow you to repair or remove Adobe Illustrator CS2. click to continue

so after i do it says
The wizard was interrupted before Adobe Illustrator CS2 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.




How do I uninstall my existing file (the add/delete program thing does not have an option for it to delete) and there is no uninstal illustrator file anywhere...

I just downloaded zonealarm suite and restarted my computer. But for some reason, it goes through its normal boot sequence, but it never starts up my computer. It boots up, shutsdown, boots up, over and over again without starting up windows.

I was looking up the word "prevail" on an Internet dictionary site and decided it would be nice to have easy access to this dictionary/Thesaurus, so I bookmarked it. The problem is that I bookmarked the definition of "prevail" and not the site itself. Everytime I try to delete this entry, and click the part were it asks if I'm sure I want to delete this source, I get a pop-up stating that the attempt to delete this particular bookmark has failed. It's so frustrating.

I've experimented and tried to delete other bookmarks, including this same dictionary site minus the word "prevail" and it is accomplished successfully. It's really starting to irk me. What on earth can I do to delete this bookmark [prevail-Synonyms from Thesaurus.com] that I mistakenly added?

Hi,
I have a plotter Canon W6200 with 6 cartridges and identificative codes as follow:
BCI-1431BK, BCI-1431C, BCI-1431M, BCI-1431Y, BCI-1431PC, BCI-1431PM.

As their cost is very expensive, I refilled the cartridges.
After the process, the plotter read cartridges as empty but they are full.
This is because colour barrels contain a chip that see cartridge using and when it's empty.

I read that there is an autoreset chip: I found a Chinese web site but they sell large chip quantity.

Do exist an instrument that autoreset chip without dismantled it? Where I can buy it?

Otherwise, what solutions there are to use again the same cartridges?

If there isn't any way to refill cartridges, where I can buy they at the best prices? (also not original price)

I bought this printer for $130.00 two years ago and now it wont suck in the paper, i dont know whats wrong. When i start to print it only sucks in the paper about 2 inches or so, and thats not enough to actually print the file. Im really mad and it doesnt work, i already cleaned the rollers and took it apart, but no go, whats wrong with it?
