aolsoftware.exe- corrupt?

this popup tells me to run chkdsk utility and after i do run the chkdsk utility the command tells me ..."error found. chkdsk cannot continue in read-only mode." what should i do now?

Try to delete anything that has AOL name in it and go find a disk at an office supply. To delete go to Control panel, add/remove programs to find files you may have copied from the AOL corrupt installation. Good luck.
