i bought the game the sims 2 pc and some of its expansion packs, and now everything is so flashing red. i know now that i need to update it, but how??? and where do i find info on my video... everything means a lot, and thx

Try downloading a copy from the videocard maker's website. But it is very likely that what you need is a videocard upgrade.

Go to the manufactures' website from other pc.if your pc has display problem and download & install video-card or display adapter
Or switch to safe mode with video-adapter default,there's nothing to do other than that....

right click on your desktop and go to properties>settings>advanced>adapter. their you will find all the information about the Video card/adapter your using and that should help you find what new driver you might need to get from the company that made your video card
