ok let me explain i dont want people to say that disable all the programms that loads when the window starts.. bcz i already did that ^_^... plz dont tell me to disable all the visual effects and check some thing like "select for best performance"...bcz i turned them off and i already know about those...
the thing is when i start the window it says that to select something like this:
-windows vista
-earlier version of windows
- safe mode
({ i am sorry if they werent exactly the same :) }
i wanna get rid of that....can any1 plz help me... i also wanna get rid of window vista logo and its sound comes out when i start the window...plz help... i need it badly... it will be appreciated...
( ooo i forgot im using windows vista ultimate.. 32 bit.... 100 gb hard drive.. 512 memory.. compaq)

i have a laptop that doesnt have a DVD compatitible player on it. it only plays cds. so my question is, is there any way that i can buy an adapter or something to put on my computer? or is that impossible?

pls. help me!!!!! i really want to watch DVDs on my laptop!

I have a desktop computer connected with a linksys USB wireless G adaptor. I have two laptops. One is an HP dv4000 with the upgraded Broadcom wireless chip. The other is a new Toshiba with a Atheros wireless chip. Both of these are wireless G. I have files on my desktop shared with my laptops. I get speeds of about 700KBps max for a file transfer. If I connect either laptop via ethernet the speed doubles even though the desktop is still connected via wireless. If I connect them all via wire the speed is about the same at 1.4MBps. With all of these tests it appears that the wireless built into my two laptops is lacking. For browsing it is ok but if I want to access pictures and music from the hard drive on my desktop, this is just unacceptable.

Oh yeah, I have a Linksys WRT54G v3. I have tried the latest firmware and currently have DD WRT installed. There is no difference in performance.

Are there any changes I could make to my settings?

i have already tried to obtain the IP add automatically and repairing the connection. It keeps saying it can't connect to the network.

Even if I place my laptop beside the router and says "connected",,, you still can't do anything online.

What is the problem? Please help. Thanks~

It's in the foreground, my cursors stays behind it, so it's not anything I can click on. It's in the middle of my screen & very annoying. When I restart my computer it goes away for a while. This just started yesterday.

My CD-R/W and DVD-ROM drives have dissapeared from MY COMPUTER and in device manager are showing with exclamation marks next to there icons, i have tried to replace their drivers but get told the drivers installed are the most suitable, how can i get my drives back?

pls. help! i just found out i can't open my drive c and drive e (flashdrive) and they have this imgkulot beside open and explore pull-down menu. i've read the other questions here and the answers, so i decided to take the plunge: i deleted imgkulot.* files on the following directories: c:\ & c:\windows\system32

now they can't be found but when i reboot my pc, and go to My Computer, I can still see the imgkulot word beside Open & Explore. i already deleted autorun.inf from my flash drive and it is now working perfectly well but my hard drive has the imgkulot even though i have already deleted them and reboot my pc. and i restore my backup registry but it is still there.

how can i completely erase imgkulot? thank goodness, at least my pc don't reboot like everybody else's pc is doing.

Hey! I Have a MAXDATA Favorit Computer With a Celeron D And On Windows XP Professional -
Heres the story really - i downloaded lynx onto a cd and wanted to put it into a old laptop so my sister could play around with it because it wont run xp anymore (it was designed for windows 98). Then i think one of the kids came past and put it in my mums maxdata computer i mentioned above - i dont know what it has done to it but when i press my power botton on the computer i just hear things inside it start for a second or less and then it goes off and the fan keeps going - the power light doesnt come on at all - nor the screen - the only thing that happens is that the lights on the keyboard flash for a second at first. please could you tell me how to fix it or if not, how can i just get the cd out of the computer because the warranty wont cover it if its someones fault! it wont prise open either - could you please help me :D!

WHENEVER I CONNECT INTERNET...THE NET WILL BE CONNECTED
