I am currently studying in university taking Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering with concentration Network Management. I was wondering once I graduate what would be the next steps to becoming an IT consultant. (I would prefer an answer from people working in the IT industry) Thanks

you may have to start out as like helpdek support or something or a tech for a larger IT dept. without any experience. The degree is good but they will still want expience.

unfortunately with no real-world work experience the odds of that happening are not very high.
