i have a laptop that doesnt have a DVD compatitible player on it. it only plays cds. so my question is, is there any way that i can buy an adapter or something to put on my computer? or is that impossible?

pls. help me!!!!! i really want to watch DVDs on my laptop!

get an external dvd writer,

well go and buy a dvd disc drive for your laptop at the same spot you bought your lab top they should take the cd player out and replace it with the dvd player you well then be able to watch dvds play games and cds

First 10 points always goes to the best answer so don't make it sound like you are providing something special when you are not.

Secondly, if your current laptop maker offers a DVD read / CD read & write drive for your laptop, you can remove the existing drive and install the new one. Because lap top units differ markedly from one make to another you need to check with the lap top maker for your specific model to see if it is available.

Better buy an external DVD drive/ with writer is better, it might cost you more if you upgrade/replaced your current cd rom drive in your laptop.
USB compatible dvd external drive are available in the market. it's easy to install.

You can get an external DVD player/burner that connects to your laptop via a USB cable.
