I have checked the connection. After about 10 to 15 minutes the cursor just freezes. I can turn the computer off for a few minutes and then it will move for awhile.

Dear friends from Yahoo Groups or Moderator of Yahoo Help,

I came to put forward a question from a very newbie whose trying to get a website to go online.

Now, I have made one page I call it landing page, with a header, little writing and some image pastes up. Then I have bought a domain. Then I have to buy a hosting, right?

Now I'm stuck. It's not easy to put the domain through.
First I follow the cpannel, then what, where the FTP file becomes to be used? It is all mixed up, maybe it is the wrong way round, FTP first then cpannel?

Someone can help??

I just downloaded MP3Rocket and it won't connect. It tells me that there might be a firewall blocking it. I turned off my firewall and it still will not work. Any suggestions?

I was just looking at my network configurations, and I wanted to know how I can be sure I'm not allowing my neighbors and/or others to access my computer without my permission. I access the internet via a hardwired connection; however, I also have a wireless connection and router that is hooked up.

Asked this a little while ago & not had back any great answers despite having searched around.

I need to plot (print) the background of my drawings, have changed the backgrounds in Cad, but it will not plot (print) the background colour (Black). I'm trying to plot (Print) red onto black.
Any ideas, it's for my final exams tomorrow lunch time.

other computers i have alot of people telling me to just long on to their network but im scared of privacy and viruses but i wanted to ask if i have a internet service can i long on to my dial up connection and and to a wi fi signal will my dial up service protect me from viruses even if im on another network and if i want to undo connecting to someones network can i undo it

Hello, I have had this Gateway E-4000 for about 5 years now and its been doing decently for any games that I play on it. I have upgraded the old video card to an ATI Radeon 9550 / X1050 Series. I have also upgraded the RAM from 128 to 256MB. All the other hardware has not been updated since i bought it. The times my computer seems to struggle most is during online games. In a counterstrike-source server with 20+ players, if I'm not in a small room i normally get 9-11 FPS. It also takes me a lot longer than most when I am loading into games. I have about $200 to start out with and I am wondering what I should start to upgrade first, my video card or RAM, and if it would even be compatible with my computer. I do intend to get a new desktop in the future and would like for any upgrades I make now to be compatiple on the next desktop I purchase.

I just had a 3D/4D ultrasound video done that the technician burned on to a disc for me, however its in a .dat file format and YouTube and Vimeo don't allow this file type, how can I convert it to a different file type?

I am going to get a laptop for Christmas. I am a senior in high school and will go to college next year and want it to last me a while...i originally wanted an apple clam shell but people say that is too childish an looks like a toy so i looked at other macs...i have to get a used one :'( but anyway should I get a mac...do you think a clamshell or not...or should I go with windows...tell me what you think...I do alot of presentations and things in a course I take in school...will a mac be a downfall?

i have a road runner cable broadband in my house, it broke down and disconnected at least 5 times or more in a day, few days ago it disconnected for 12 hours, i can't even finish my project without the internet, it wasted me a lot of time.

finally i decided to get a verizon DSL broadband just in case to be backup. i just want to know whether i'm able to connect 2 broadband in a same pc or i need some switcher or else?
