For gaming on a 50" 720p tv, will an 8800gts 640mb suffice, or should I get an 8800gtx? Or is 2 8600gts's good

i don't know of any game at all that needs the 8800gtx -- it's capable beyond anything that the software people have yet to invent.

admit that i do not try to drive a plasma tv from my video card though [that is what your mean, correct?] ... the gts /640 should be more than enough, I think.

[how's your German? I recall a german gaming site that used to try out every piece of hardware and every wardware combo they could think of ... problem was that not all of their articles got translated into English.]
