other computers i have alot of people telling me to just long on to their network but im scared of privacy and viruses but i wanted to ask if i have a internet service can i long on to my dial up connection and and to a wi fi signal will my dial up service protect me from viruses even if im on another network and if i want to undo connecting to someones network can i undo it

for give me for not making any sense what i wanted to say is i want to connect to a wi fi signal but i am scared of viruses and my privacy these are my neighbores they are fine with it but still ,and can i be loged on to the internet through my dial up service and wi fi at the same time will my service protect even if im on another network ?

Your computer can only use ONE internet connection so if you log on to a wireless AP connecting to dial up will have no effect at all. If your concern is viruses even with dial up you can get them... just be sure you have a good antivirus program and a good firewall then connecting using either is ok.

Be aware that you do need the permission of your neighbors to use their wireless connection and be aware that you are CONNECTING into their NETWORK! Meaning they can track your usage and your computer!

Again just keep good AV and firewall running!

your computer can only connect to one source at one time, as long as you have anti virus and adware protection it doesn't matter what connection you use.
