i have AVG Anti-Spyware and i can choose if i want to delete or quarantine the adware. which should i choose to kill the adware?

I have read the technical reference manual and I am 100% sure that I followed all of its instructions. (Yes! even the floppy disk thing...) I already partitioned the SATA HDD and loaded the XP setup and it automatically restarts the pc... but at the "loading of XP" screen part... the loading bar stops at the middle and a "Stop Error Screen" appears. What do you think is the cause? Please help me.. thank you.

I think i pressed a button or a key or conbination of keys or somthing and now when i go to the internet explorer the taskbar automatically hides itself. it has done it before and i fixed it.

But i cannot remember how i did it.

Can some1 help me.

I have an old Compaq Presario 7462, it had 64MB SDRAM and I added an extra 256MB SDRAM. It running on Xubuntu, way better than the win98 it had. It runs smooth but when wacthing videos It gets choppy. Can this be the Graphics card if so I need someone to inform me on a specific graphics card to purchase. I just want the computer for web browsing and wacthing some vidz and listening to music, nothing special. Here are its specifications http://support.radioshack.com/support_computer/doc58/58288.htm can someone revise them and advise me on what to upgrade. I would so appreciate Im not good at this been doing alot of reading and getting by slowly with it.

the laptop is an old Dell lattitude, and i am about to put the win98 op system on it... worried that it wont work wirelessly as wireless came in after 98 to my knowledge also i dont know if i can get the driver to be recognised. dont want to wipe an old lappy if its not going to work! . thanks! My laptop monitor won't turn on, the processor is running, and everything seems like it works correctly, even though the monitor is on, I have tried to hook up an external monitor, but I think I need to be able to see the screen for it to work. I have an Alienware Bot desktop whose CPU keeps overheating (apparent design flaw in the Bot line). It is an Intel P4, I believe a 775 chipset.

Can anyone recommend a specific CPU fan I can buy to replace what it came with, preferably one that does not sound like a jet engine, as the CPU fan it came with does.

Ok, I was doing a practice lab that involved setting up RAID 1...and it wasn't working.

First, I set up dynamic disks. Then went to computer management and right-clicked the unallocated space, and chose to create a volume.

In the box that pops up, I got "Simple Volume", and the other choices were grayed out...including the choice I needed, which was "Mirrored Volume".

I tried many different things, including formatting simple volumes of equal sizes.

No matter what, I could never get the option to create a Mirrored Volume.

Any ideas?

This was a lab computer, ghosted with Win Server 2003, with about 3 GB or so default for the primary partition, of which I can choose whatever I want for unallocated space.

I have a 56Kbps modem and a dial up connection. I had upplied for BroadBand connection from BSNL. They said they wont configure the connection if i have my own modem, all that they can give me is User ID, Password and IP address and they gave all that info. I tried making a connection using all these details but all time getting error 759 or 760.
1. So does anyone know how to configure ur connection for BroadBand? (especially BSNL)
2. Does a 56Kbps modem works with BroadBand?

As i have not been able make the connection on my own, have decided to take a type 1 modem on rental from BSNL. So please give me the answer soon and Save my money.
(Monthly rental charges for a modem is Rs.80/- )
