Ok the problem is that I deleted the "My Documents" folder. I have my files in an extra place so it's fine, but now I can't get back the folder itself!

I'm using Vista, and the "Documents" in my Start menu doesn't open anything.

When I right click it, it only shows the options: Copy, Rename and Properties.

When I click on Properties, it only shows one tab: General, and the form is BLANK!! PLEASE HELP!!

I tried to make another folder and name it "Documents" but it doesn't link to the Start menu's "Document"

About few days, when i turn on my laptop, first the laptop will come out the logo or picture of the company name.. toshiba, hp.. etc then when the logo disappear and it just stop at a black screen with a white colour '_' keeping flashing at the top left hand corner.. then it just stuck at that condition.. it was suppose to come to a screen that shows window XP picture with some blue colour line on the bottom which keep moving.. I had to try about 5 to 7 times on and off again or pat at it then it will turn back normal.. so what causes my laptop to react this way..?

My mom and I got into a discussion re laptops. Can someone settle a few items for me. 1) Are laptops using Internet Explorer immune to viruses/spyware and 2) if the laptop is hooked up to another computer that does have antivirus/antispyware software on it, does that protect the laptop if it doesn't have any anti software on itself.

I am trying to upload all kinds of video, music and picture formats and I get a dialog box saying it's a unspecified error.

After which I restart the application, the file which was unsuccesfully imported appears in the collection but don't seem to be able to add into the timeline. help please

My monitor has been acting weird for the past week. Mostly the reds and browns are pixelated, but so are dark greens and other colors. I've tried turning off the whole computer for a couple hours (overnight), but it still didn't work. Do I need a new monitor or video card or something?

I have Nero 7 and have been trying to make my own DVD video of clips with the menu. All I seem to get is DVD roms.The only menu items available on each page is the first clip yet on the computer it's fine. I have the latest Sony DVD player so it can't/shouldn't be the player. Where the file goes when we delete it in dos remember not MS dos just DOS only DOS. Like in windows it goes to recycle bin we can restore it.

In dos we can UNDEL it but where that file goes when we delete it.

I am aware of the features to view the installed updates directly on the site, and also aware that they are viewable from add/remove programs, however I don't think those are exportable into different file formats, such as word or pdf. I am also aware that a script can retrieve this information, i am looking for something more simple, (also aware of scanning to pdf and using character recongnition to try to import to a excel doc.) My preference is to have the updates in a excel doc that i can easily update every month.
