I am aware of the features to view the installed updates directly on the site, and also aware that they are viewable from add/remove programs, however I don't think those are exportable into different file formats, such as word or pdf. I am also aware that a script can retrieve this information, i am looking for something more simple, (also aware of scanning to pdf and using character recongnition to try to import to a excel doc.) My preference is to have the updates in a excel doc that i can easily update every month.
=) Thanks, (The app should be free)

Belarc Advisor, free from:

"My preference is to have the updates in a excel doc that i can easily update every month." - no need, run Belarc instead.

You may want to try running a Belarc scan. It will list detauiled specs of your computer including downloaded updates.
